Alethia’s career path in the public relations industry initiated 15 years ago, with experience in coordinating communication programs for destinations, chained-brand hotels, and tourism industry service providers. She’s been involved with important editorial, decoration, entertaining and food brands. She has overseen a wide range of clients and has developed a proven competency in storytelling and content marketing skills focused on ideas and experiences, rather than exclusively in products and services. At PR Central, among other responsibilities, she leads the strategic planning and supervises the communication programs and public relations; events planning, developmental and content editing; media relations; competitive intelligence and regular communication with customers. She participated in the Destination Canada Marketing Board from 2011 to 2013 and in 2017 she was a member of the Board of Directors of Canadá 150. Alethia is currently an active member of the Editorial Board of the travel supplement of the Mexican Newspaper Reforma.
Jorge has over 20 years of experience in marketing, promotion, selling services and brand positioning. He collaborated with Destination Canada as a General Director in Mexico’s Office for 11 years. Throughout his career has acquired a profound awareness of the Mexican market that allows him to promote leading initiatives intended to motivate the different types of target audiences. He has participated in the creation of countless events, along with sponsorships and strategic alliances with several brands and key business partners in the tourism industry. At PR Central, capitalizing on his wide network, his daily activities include designing and overseeing strategic programs aimed at the consumer. Jorge was the President of the Canada Mexico Chamber of Commerce during the biennium 2015-2016; additionally, he was President of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMA) in 2012 and 2013.
